Tokusa

Tokusa
Togusa is a vertical striped pattern that has been popular in Japan since ancient times. Because it is straight and powerful and stretches upward, it has been widely adopted in traditional crafts as a simple design. Among the pottery in the Hizen area, many can be seen in early Ko-Imari.
